2024 News & Events

December 2024 - Jack Ingebritson Foundation Donation
Thank you to the Board of Directors of the Jack Ingebritson Foundation for the generous grant of $50,000! This money will help fulfill our goal of purchasing a refrigerator for our Mobile Food Bank initiative providing nutritious food in the food deserts of Yavapai County.
November 2024 - Non-Profit Organization of the Year Award
The Prescott Chamber of Commerce awarded PCCFB 2024 Non-Profit Organization of the Year, sponsored by Arizona Community Foundation.
November 21, 2024 - Prescott Chamber Ribbon Cutting

Join us for our official Prescott Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, November 21st at 4:00pm, here at the Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank!

November 9, 2024 - Findlay Toyota Center Raffle Winner!

Findlay Toyota Center’s raffle on behalf of PCCFB was an awesome success with Autumn P. the winner of tonight’s Styx Concert tickets!

September 22, 2024 - Thank You Prescott Rotary Club

The Prescott Rotary Club presented the Cupboard with a check for $1,422 and another check to the Prescott Valley Food bank for $1,212. This generous donation will provide food to people experiencing food insecurity in the Prescott and Prescott Valley areas.

September 14, 2024 - Olsen's Equifest

September 14th: Olsen’s is partnering with Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank to collect non-perishable items at this year’s Equifest on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Visit our Events page for more.

August 5, 2024 - PCCFB and PV Food Bank Merged!
On August 5, 2024, The Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank and Prescott Valley Food Bank merged!
The combined organizations aim to:
• Increase the variety and amount of nutritious food available to the community
• Strengthen programs and services
• Ensure equitable food access
• Provide more opportunities for volunteers
• Optimize efficiency
• Share resources
Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank and Prescott Valley Food Bank have been serving the community for over 90 years combined and will continue providing nutritious food to those suffering from food insecurity.
August 1, 2024 - Thank You Total Wine & More!

The Cupboard is proud to acknowledge Total Wine & More for their generous donation of a prize valued at $600 to be part of the 2024 Olsen’s Equifest Raffle on September 14th. This is sure to help make the raffle a success!

July 26, 2024 - Thank You Arizona Charitable Foundation!

Regional Director, Lisa Sahady, from the Arizona Charitable Foundation of Yavapai County toured the Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank on Friday, July 26th. It was great to show Lisa firsthand the wonderful things the Cupboard is doing to help end food insecurity in Yavapai County. She was able to meet with Board Chair Bud Heitman, Warehouse Manager John Davidson, grant writer Joan Abbey and many of our amazing volunteers.

July 12, 2024 - Thank You United Way Community Builders


Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank attended the United Way Community Builders’ fundraising event, Flappers and Gangsters on Friday July 12th. It was a great event with Key Note Speaker Ben Burke from Manzanita Outreach.

July 2, 2024 - Thank You Mountain Reformed Church!

The Cupboard received a generous donation of $1,017 from the Mountain Reformed Church. This donation will provide over 2,000 meals and help reduce food insecurity in Yavapai County.
